Cut beef into 2-3 pieces. Blanch the beef very briefly in boiling water, transfer to a bowl of cold water immediately, drain, and pat dry. Soak wakame seaweed in water, wring, and cut into 1-inch strips. Julienne cucumber, daikon radish, carrot, and Japanese leek into 1-inch pieces, and combine. Soak in ice water to crisp, and drain. Cut tomatoes into quarters. To make sesame dressing, grind toasted white sesame seeds in a mortar, add seasonings, and mix well. Spread sliced vegetables on plates, arrange wakame and beef on top, and garnish with tomatoes. Serve with sesame dressing on the side.
Sesame Dressing is on the market instead of making. Herb, lettuce, onion or so on can also be used instead of these vegetables. 14 oz beef sirloin, thinly sliced1/6 oz dried wakame seaweed, 1/2(2oz) cucumber, 1 3/4 oz carrot, 3+1/2 oz daikon radish, 1-inch Japanese leek, 4 cherry tomatoes.
